How to Get A Grant For Your First Business

Acquiring your first grant will most certainly be the hardest. I can talk about a website I’ve seen grow over the years.

Meet cryptoroyale.one — a nice and fun nft game that actually functions — unlike 80% of modern day nft projects that promises they’ll release eventually — this one released on day 1.

They acquired hundreds of thousands of users, some of you might even know who they are, they’re pretty big. They had a peak marketcap of over 30 million dollars. Don’t worry, the project’s dead today, but it still serves as a good example on how to get your hands on your first grant.

It’s pretty tragic, but there’s nothing we can really do about it. Their founding team halted user growth and focused on internal development which eventually led to the death of the project. Not to mention a few developers actually rugging the project, earning millions and millions of dollars.

The project is still functional today and actually works. It’s just that to make 5$, you’d need to play for 10–15 days. I know because I used to play the game back in 2022, and made 5$ in a day, where now it takes weeks. All due to the token valuation being drummed over because of greed. The project might’ve been worth 100 million dollars today if they hadn’t rugged. I’m dead serious, I could’ve genuinely seen it happening.

FYI: Their first grant was 380,000$ USD in full custody tokens, which is just hard to believe, but actually pretty easy to believe as it took them a year of begging to receive, amongst insane growth and so fourth, they got their first grant with this userbase: (Link to their official grant page)

Can you believe how they originally requested a 350,000$ investment, but ended up getting a 380,000$ grant? It’s insane.

It all makes sense when you look at their stats:

And their eventual boom due to their infamous youtuber paid adverts which cost roughly 3,000$ in total.

Keep in mind, it only takes roughly 7,000 active players at one time to generate results like these, which is why they’ve never really displayed their ccu’s (concurrent active users//at one given point in time//peak users at one point in time).

There’s nothing much to state other than that you’ve got to get 7,000 active users using your website, and a loyal fanbase of 1,000 to get your first MAJOR GRANT.

If you’re looking for 2,500$(small grant), you’d need roughly 1,000 discord members. That’s actually an overstatement, you’d need more like 500, with at least 200 people using your website each day.

And for $1,000 grants, roughly half those numbers. This is of course assuming you’re growing at the same 40% MoM growth rate with no actual need for those grants….if you’re growing that fast…why on earth do you need grants? The answer is: you don’t.

That’s all for today,

Cheers!
